A native of the Washington metropolitan area, Tarshea Smith brings over 30 years of experience to the property management and real estate industry. Ms. Smith’s portfolio has consisted of A, B, C and D garden-style, midrise, condominiums and high-rise assets for conventional and HUD related communities in multi-family and military housing, as well as single family housing. She’s managed communities up to 2000 units and has worked with prominent real estate investors and homeowners throughout the Washington metro area, including the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina.
Ms. Smith holds her professional real estate licenses in Washington D.C., Virginia and Maryland, including her District of Columbia's Property Management License and her Accredited Residential Manager certification through the Institute of Real Estate Management. She is currently a candidate for the Certified Manager of Community Associations certification program, and holds a number of other industry credentials such as her Short Sales and Foreclosures Certification, National Apartment Leasing Professional credential, Military Relocation Professional certification, and Notary Public commission for the state of Maryland.
Additionally, she is affiliated with numerous professional organizations, including but not limited to: the National Association of Residential Property Managers, the Maryland Multi-Housing Association, the National Apartment Association, the Institute of Real Estate Management, the National Association of Realtors, and the Prince George’s County Association of Realtors.
